The 110th Founders' Day of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®  fell on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The members of Xi Delta Omega celebrated both observances with fun and service.

The day began at the Prince of Peace Church in Edgewood. There, members volunteered with Our Daily Bread in Baltimore in their Casserole Bake Program. The program allows groups to bake and deliver casseroles to the church to feed pantry guests.

At noon members ventured to the Historical Hosana School Museum in Darlington. The museum hosted an event honoring Mrs. Coretta Scott King and her pivotal role during the Civil Rights Movement. Xi Delta Omega also collected non-perishables and toiletries for the families and children of SARC.

The evening ended with a Founders' Day dinner at the Mountain Branch Golf Course in Joppa.
