The purpose of the Xi Delta Omega Chapter is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of service to all mankind as stated in the Constitution and Bylaws, of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.

Chapter History

The Xi Delta Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was chartered on April 24, 1982, by 19 visionary women in Harford County.

Community Outreach

The Xi Delta Omega Chapter is dedicated to implementing programs of service that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of communities within Harford and Cecil Counties, as well as national and international communities.



Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® (AKA) is proud of her 1,026  chapters and nearly 300,000 members in 55 nations and all 50 US states.  Membership is by invitation only.
