Alpha Kappa Alpha will continue its focus on education with an emphasis on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Chapters will promote and market historically black colleges and universities and encourage students to attend HBCUs as a sustainability measure. Activities will include researching and publishing information regarding prominent Alpha Kappa Alpha women and other notable individuals who attended HBCUs.

Here’s a complete list of HBCUs from the Department of Education.The Signature Program is #CAPSM which is the abbreviation for College Admissions Process. It is designed to assist students in their efforts to enter college by providing a hands-on approach that includes all the steps from researching various colleges to actually completing the application process.

Application Deadline Extended to Midnight May 19, 2019
This is the summer residential program for high school students interested in accounting and finance. This program will run from Sunday, July 7 through Friday, July 12, 2019. This program is free of charge. Preference will be given to applicants with the highest GPA (GPA of 3.0 or better on 4.0 scale is preferable). However, good SAT scores will be considered.
Participants will receive a package of forms and program rules and regulations in the mail. Please return the forms by June 14 so we will know who are coming and we can plan for you. You may obtain additional copies of forms below:
